Sapporo

Alors que notre petit séjour à Sapporo est sur le point de s'achever, voici un petit compte rendu de nos découvertes locales!

Da wir Sapporo bald verlassen werden, fassen wir hier kurz unsere Eindrücke zusammen.

As our short Sapporo stay reaches its end, here is a little summary of our discoveries!

Pour commencer, nous avons passé nos premières nuits dans une chambre japonnaise. Dormir sur un petit futon à même le tatami change pas mal du confort de notre matelas Pikolin de compétition, mais on s'y fait! ;) Nous reviendrons sur ce sujet dans un prochain article!

In Sapporo haben wir zum ersten mal ein Zimmer im japanischen Stil gebucht. Der Schlafkomfort auf einem Futon Bett ist zwar nicht mit unserer mega Pikolin Matratze zu vergleichen, aber das hatten wir auch nicht erwartet. Mehr zu diesem Thema später.
First of all, we spent our first nights in a Japanese style room. Sleeping on a tiny futon directly on the tatami floor isn't quite as comfortable as our mattress Pikolin back home, but we are slowly getting use to it ;) We'll come back to this topic later on!

Comme on avait pas mal de sommeil de retard et que le temps fort humide ne s'est pas trop prêté à des excursions sans fin, nous en avons profité pour faire quelques grasses matinées bien méritées!

Da das Wetter eher von der feuchten Sorte war, haben wir es vorgezogen, endlich mal wieder richtig gut auszuschlafen statt grossartig strapazierende Ausflüge zu machen.
As we were still very tired and the highly humid weather wasn't ideal for long walks, we did enjoy  a couple of lie in!

Mais nous sommes quand même sortis.... pour manger ;) Premier diner: premiers ramens :

But we eventually went out.... to get some food ;) First dinner, first ramens:

 Au bouillon miso, c'est ce qui se fait par ici!

In einer Miso Suppe, wie es hier so üblich ist!

With miso broth, that's how they eat it around here!

Nous avons aussi fait un tour dans le jardin botanique de l'université d'Hokkaido, situé juste à côté de notre ryokan.

Da sich direkt um die Ecke unseres Ryokan der botanische Garten von Hokkaido befindet, bot sich ein Spaziergang im Grünen geradezu an.

We also did have a look at the Hokkaido University Botanical Garden, right by our ryokan.

Puis visité l'ancien bâtiment du gouvernement central d'Hokkaido, surnommé "briques rouges", un bâtiment du XIXeme siècle d'inspiration architecturale américaine.
Das ehemalige Regierungsgebäude von Hokkaido, auch "rotes Ziegelsteinhaus" genannt, stammt aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und wurde im damaligen amerikanischen Architekturstil gebaut. 
Later on we had a look at the former Hokkaido central government building, nicknamed "red bricks",  a 19th century building with an American architecture.

Hokkaido est une région réputée pour ses fruits de mer, et notament ses crabes.... nous sommes allez chez le roi du crabe

Hokkaido ist in Japan berühmt für seine Meeresfrüchte, und insbesondere seine Krabben... Wir waren also zu Gast im hiesigen Gourmetpalast.

Hokkaido is well known in Japan for its seafood,  especially its crabs.... so we went to a crab specialist

Le tout dans le quartier "d'amusement" le plus grand au nord de Tokyo (4500 bars et restaurants!)

Und das ganze im grössten Vergnügungsviertel nördlich von Tokyo (4500 Bars und Restaurants!)

This happened in the biggest amusement district north of Tokyo (4500 bars and restaurants!)

Nous avons également tenté une petite visite à l'ancienne brasserie Sapporo, qui était malheureusement fermée....

Das alte Brauhaus von Sapporo war leider geschlossen...

We also tried to visit the old Sapporo brewery, but unfortunately it was closed....

Nous sommes donc allés nous consoler dans le Sapporo Bier Garten en dégustant l'une des autres spécialité de l'île: le Jingisukan, agneau d'Hokkaido grillé avec des petits légumes.... et de la bière évidemment! 

Da blieb und nichts anderes übrig als uns in den  Sapporo Bier Garten  zu begeben und eine andere Spezialität der Insel auszuprobieren: Hokkaido-Lamm mit Gemüse gegrillt Jingisukan ... und dazu Bier!  

All that was left to do in this district was to visit the  Sapporo Bier Garten and try the Jingisukan (grilled Hokkaido lamb with vegetables).... with some beer of course!

Dernière journée, toujours sous la pluie.... un temps pour aller au musée.... eh bien justement, ils ont un très joli musée d'art moderne, ça tombe bien!

Letzter Tag, immer noch im Regen... also eher was für einen Museumsbesuch... gut, dass es hier ein nettes Museum für moderne Kunst gibt! 

Last day, still under the rain.... perfect conditions to visit the very nice Hokkaido museum of modern art!

Au programme une très jolie expo sur les peintres de l'école de Paris.... (très exotique!), le travail d'un sculpteur sur bois d'Hokkaido et une expo de caligraphie à laquelle nous n'avons biensûr pas compris grand chose!

Es gab eine Ausstellung zur École de Paris... (sehr exotisch!), eine Ausstellung eines lokalen Künstlers, und eine Kaligraphie-Schau von der wir so gut wir nichts verstanden haben!

They had a very nice exhibition of  school of Paris paintings... (very exotic!), a local wood sculptor was showing his beautiful work and we also saw the temporary Japanese calligraphy exhibition (of which we of course didn't get much!)

Sur le chemin du retour, petite balade pluvieuse, 

Im Regen gings zurück zum Hotel, 

Nice rainy walk on our way back,

un arc en ciel en prime! 

Ein Regenbogen als Zugabe!

et pour finir, un petit tour par la fameuse "clock tower", autre bâtiment fin XIXeme encore debout (ils ne sont vraiment pas nombreux dans cette ville à l'architecture moderne!)
Zum guten Schluss gings noch zum  "Glockenturm", einem der wenigen noch erhaltenen Gebäude aus dem späten 19. Jahrhundert, in einer ansonsten von moderner Architektur geprägten Stadt.
to end up our tour, we had a look at the famous "clock Tower", another 19th century building (they are really rare in this modern city!)

Demain nous prendrons la route pour le lac Towada au petit matin.... au programe: nature, bains chauds... et rien d'autre pendant 3 jours :)
Morgen früh geht es auf zum Towada See … Auf dem Programm stehen Natur pur, heisse Bäder... und das für ganze 3 Tage.
Tomorrow we'll be on our way to lake Towada..... nice walks in the forest, warm baths.... and that will be it for 3 days :)
